Here we have an example of a unique request that not many companies will be able to accomodate. Our customer wanted plantation shutters installed on their skylights in their breakfast area next to the kitchen. At first I invisioned a couple of small window openings. Not a big deal. When I saw the windows, I thought this would be a nice change of pace. They had the option of having the openings covered with single panels, or a pair in each opening. Granted, the windows are 44 inches wide. Most companies are only able to make a shutter panel up to 36” wide. I have a number of factories I work with, so I am not limited as some others may be. They eventually chose to have 2 panels installed in each skylight and believe it or not, our master installer Jeff Neitzel hung this job by himself in just a few hours.
